Love Bites.

LOVE BiTES is a relationship violence prevention program aimed at young people aged between 14-18 years. LOVE BiTES delivers interactive educational workshops that focus on engaging with young people in their own language to discuss key issues concerning relationship violence. Young people are educated in ways to conduct respectful and safe relationships.
 
Over 20,000 high school students throughout New South Wales and Queensland have participated in the LOVE BiTES program, with over 1,000 workers and teachers already trained throughout New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania. In 2010 LOVE BiTES will be rolling out the Train the Trainer (TTT) package in the Northern Territory and Queensland.
 
LOVE BiTES was developed in NSW in 2004 by the North Coast Area Health Women's Health and Sexual Assault Service. LOVE BiTES is based on best practice standards for education programs as recommended by the Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse and leading academics in the area of violence against women.

The LOVE BiTES TTT package has been written for any professional working in the area of Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault who has an interest in or responsibility for running respectful relationship education programs.
