Advocacy Network
Preventing child abuse and neglect is everyone's business. NAPCAN's advocacy network provides a way for you to get involved.
NAPCAN's advocacy network is centered on the belief that the safety and wellbeing of Australia's children is everyone's business - it is not just the responsibility of governments but a responsibility that should be shared by the whole Australian community; individuals, professionals, business and the media.
There are many different ways in which you may choose to be involved.
Upon signing up to the advocacy network, you will receive a regular newsletter containing:
- the latest information on prevention strategies, so you are confident about spreading the word in your community and workplace
- specific calls to action, eg. participate in an event, talk to your local MP, write a letter to the editor of your local paper
- a feedback mechanism so you can share your advocacy activities and results with the advocacy network - this will help NAPCAN formulate tips on the strategies that work best
- information for your local businesses or your workplace on how they can financially support NAPCAN's vital work

Together we WILL empower all Australians to put children first.
